Kella Hatcher Accepts Role as Regular Work-Life Columnist of Carolina Parent Website

Raleigh/Durham, NC, August 2006 -- Kella Hatcher, co-founder and partner of Balancing Professionals, LLC, will be a regular columnist for Carolina Parent Magazine’s new website, which is expected to be launched this winter. The column will focus primarily on work-life balance issues.

Carolina Parent is a monthly magazine, published as a resource for parents in the Triangle area of North Carolina. The magazine is also a resource for educators and daycare and health care providers throughout the community. With a circulation of 58,000, Carolina Parent magazine has more than 120,000 readers. The award-winning magazine is launching a new website to provide more resources and information to its readers.

Balancing Professionals advises companies on creating a win-win, flexible workplace and connects businesses to a pool of high-caliber, part-time professionals. Operating in the Triangle area of North Carolina, the firm was founded in 2004 by Kella Hatcher and Maryanne Perrin, respectively an attorney and an engineer/MBA who had navigated careers as part-time professionals prior to joining efforts to promote part-time opportunities for others.
