Balancing Professionals, LLC Presents “The Business Case for Work-Life Balance” at Statewide Conference for the Society of Human Resource Managers

Durham, NC, September 18, 2006 – Balancing Professionals, LLC presents “The Business Case for Work-Life Balance” at the annual conference of North Carolina’s Society of Human Resource Managers (SHRM). The conference, a two-day event held at the Marriott hotel and convention center in downtown Durham, is the annual gathering of hundreds of human resources professionals from around the state.

The presentation examines why work-life balance continues to be a critical issue in the 21st century workplace and how demographic and social issues are keeping it in the spotlight. Presenters Maryanne Perrin and Kella Hatcher, co-founders and partners of Balancing Professionals, talk about what innovative companies are doing to address the issue of work/life balance, thereby enabling them to attract and retain some of the brightest workers to their team.

Balancing Professionals advises companies on creating a win-win, flexible workplace and connects businesses to a pool of high-caliber, part-time professionals.
