Balancing Professionals Writes Column for Women’s Edge Magazine

Raleigh, NC (February 1, 2008) — Balancing Professionals is pleased to have the opportunity to be a regular contributor to the new and already thriving Women’s Edge, a monthly magazine focused on stories for and about professional women in the Triangle area of North Carolina.  Kella Hatcher and Maryanne Perrin, co-founders of Balancing Professionals, LLC, will be contributing to “work world,” a quarterly column dedicated to issues surrounding workplace change and work-life integration.  Their first column, titled “Re-Defining Work,” appears in the February 2008 issue of Women’s Edge.

Balancing Professionals advises companies on creating a win-win, flexible workplace and connects businesses to a pool of high-caliber, part-time professionals.  Operating in the Triangle area of North Carolina, the firm was founded in 2004 by Kella Hatcher and Maryanne Perrin, respectively an attorney and an engineer/MBA who had navigated careers as part-time professionals prior to joining efforts to promote part-time opportunities for others.   Balancing Professionals has helped a variety of companies capitalize on the changing workplace including clients in the pharmaceutical, technology, manufacturing, non-profit, and professional services industries.
