Balancing Professionals To Support Dress For Success® Triangle NC

Raleigh, NC (May 16, 2008) —Balancing Professionals, LLC  is pleased to announce its decision to support Dress for Success Triangle NC, a nonprofit organization that promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support, and career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

“Balancing Professionals is about helping people thrive in work and in life through the creation and utilization of more flexible work arrangements like part-time, telecommuting, and job-sharing, so Dress for Success was a natural fit as a philanthropy for us to focus our support,” says Kella Hatcher, co-founder of Balancing Professionals.  “Not only do we enjoy dedicating our own volunteer time to Dress for Success Triangle NC, but because our organization reaches many professional women, we are in a wonderful position to promote its mission and find opportunities to collect clothing.”

Founded in New York City in 1997, Dress for Success has affiliate organizations all over the world, but it is new to the area, having just received approval in February, 2008 to open a Triangle location.  Thanks to the efforts of the founder, Pat Nathan, who recently returned to the Triangle and is leading the launch of this affiliate, things are off to a great start with over 1,000 suits already collected and a small army of volunteers ready to lend a hand.
