Balancing Professionals to Speak at Durham Chamber of Commerce

Durham, NC (October 1, 2008) — Balancing Professionals will present “The Economic and Sustainable People Strategy Most Businesses Overlook” at the Durham Chamber of Commerce’s October 8th Small Business Council Lunch & Learn.  This presentation will take a closer look at the top priority of today’s workforce: flexibility.  When organizations really get flexible (think something much more than “flex-time”) they create sustainable benefits for employees, the community, the environment, and their bottom line!  Not only is flexibility cheap to offer, but it’s a strategy that can give you a competitive advantage over the majority of companies who aren’t capitalizing on it.  This session will explore the four workforce change factors that are driving the need for flexibility, how flexibility can be a win-win-win-win (that’s a lot of wins for a lot of different constituents!), and the top ways your organization can capitalize on flexibility.

The Lunch & Learn series is free for members of the Durham Chamber of Commerce.  Bring your own lunch and drinks will be provided.  The meeting will be held from 12-1:15pm at the Durham Chamber.
