Balancing Professionals Moderates Panel for Women@Work Event

Raleigh, NC (September 30, 2009) - For the third consecutive year, Balancing Professionals participated in Carolina Parent Magazine’s annual Women@Work event on September 15th, 2009, honoring 50 family-friendly employers in North Carolina.  The event drew hundreds to the American Tobacco campus in Durham, and featured author Ann Crittenden, speaking about her book “If You’ve Raised Kids, You Can Manage Anything.” Maryanne Perrin and Kella Hatcher, founders and partners at Balancing Professionals, moderated a panel of area executives who shared with the audience ways that their own employers’ policies and practices have helped them balance work and family.  Panel Executives were from Blue Cross Blue Shield North Carolina, Cisco Systems, and Capitol Broadcasting.
